Teaching The Next Generation

Learning Landscapes teaches children how to grow food in vegetable gardens at schools, community centers or clubs.

For many children in Appalachia, this is their first exposure to fresh, healthy, home-grown food. Children create, plant, tend, nurture, cultivate and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables.

They also participate in fresh, food tastings,  receive nutrition education, cooking classes and more.
