Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program
Through the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program we seek to holistically improve start-up opportunities for a diverse group of beginning farmers to establish and sustain viable agricultural operations and communities.
Developing beginning farmers will simultaneously address workforce development, nutrition, natural resource conservation, and economic development, in a region where one in five citizens lives at or below the federal poverty line.
